Sliding Frame
You can turn your frame into a sliding window insect screen. We can supply you with channel that will allow the frame to slide to the left or right of your open window. This makes sense if you have restricted space, or a window sill that you don’t want to clear every time you want to open or close the window. You can also cover a larger area with two frames that cross over each other, but you may need extra channel as you will need double top and bottom.
The channel is 1.5mm thick. The top and bottom channel has an internal mesurement of 18mm and is 18mm deep.
The frame comprises four profiles, four corners, rubber spline and grey fibreglass material.
When you buy a frame you get 2m of channel for the top and bottom (may not be continuous) 3M in two 1.5m sections with the 150x 150 frames. If you are using two frames to overlap then remember that you will need to double the amount of channel. By all means email or telephone us for advice and we may be able to supply the length of channel you need in the price.
